paintings for local food cooking recipes at the gallery of the art-hotel in Solonghello, an Italian very (very) small ancient Italian town in the heart of Monferrato, land of UNESCO's sites "Sacro Monte di Crea" and "Paesaggi Vitivinicoli of Piedmont"
TAVOLE A TAVOLA means "art tables on the kitchen table"...
The art exhibition is shown for the very first time, now : in year 2018, which in Italy, even called "Belpaese" (Land of Beuaty), is the national ANNO DEL CIBO ITALIANO ( "Year of Italian Food).
Te collection in exhibition presents the drawings made by Cecilia Prete for the volumes of recipes collection "Piatti della cucina alessandrina - Monferrato, Fraschetta, Preappennino" (Dishes of Alessandria's region cooking tradition - typical gastronomy of Monferrato, Fraschetta, and Preappennino terrories) edited by Luigi Bruni and published by Vicolo del Pavone Edizioni.
The exhibition is shown at the art-gallery of LOCANDA DELL'ARTE hotel, where in every room, lounge and space, even in the court and the garden, there are artworks of the Maria Palumbo Sormani's contemporary art and artcraft collection.
The exhibition TAVOLE A TAVOLA can be visited with free admission every day from 3 March to 3 June during the hours 10-12 and 14-19, and will be offered to the public meeting opportunities carried out in conviviality with its protagonists, on initiative of art-hotel LOCANDA DELL'ARTE in collaboration with with VICOLO DEL PAVONE editions, Monferrato Hospitality & Handmade network and DIRE FARE DISEGNARE cultural association.

A "round table" introduced by Maria Palumbo Sormani, LOCANDA DELL'ARTE's gallery manager. A conversation, open to public interventions, on the theme suggested by the collection of artistic works presented at the exhibition.
Speakers : artist Cecilia Prete - author of the collection of tables on display, Giovanna Ceccherini - expert of ICH UNESCO Mediterranean Diet, Laura Chiarello - president of Mirò Association, Vittorina Maratelli - for Riso Maratelli 1914 Association.
● 19,30 pm - THE TASTE OF KNOWLEGDE
Chef and gastronomy historian Luigi Bruni, author of the recipes illustrated by the artworks, will cook the dinner at the art-hotel's restaurant, offering a selection of local speciaties, of which will give the diners tasty essays on the "secret goodness" of their genuine ingredients, and history.
