“There is no new art. There are new artists. The new artist must be completely faithful to him or herself, must be a creator, must be capable of building his or her own foundations directly and alone, without depending on the past or tradition… the formula is his or her antithisis”

Received Ideas

Below you will find a list of different activities that can be carried out during the “European Day of Artistic Creativity” in the cities taking part in the CreArt Network. Each city/institution will have the opportunity to choose which one/s suit best to its context and can be adapted to specific requirements, according to the nature of the organization; museums, theatres, conservatories, art colleges, squares, streets, educational centres, exhibition spaces, etc. The present activities are only open proposals and they can be used as a springboard to create new kinds of activities.
The order of the following proposal of activities has nothing to do with the relevance of the recommendation:

1

Using elitist public spaces to display the artistic creations of all the artists of the city, without prejudice or selections.
Use the enclosed space at the exhibition of artwork without selecting, open to all artists or those who contribute their creativity freely, without censorship.

Here I am proposing a way to approach dance either as an art and a therapy, as well as a basic element in daily life.
By means of these solo or choral performances and stages I would like to offer the possibility of connecting expression, training, improvisation and self-healing, through body experiences full of meanings embracing psychophysical well-being and therapeutic-artistic movements as a whole.
I created for you “Stella Maris”, the dancing mandalas which by the force and the beauty of lights, colours, and shapes can revive any one’s inner and healing dance: an oracle of any one’s life theme by which one can discover his own deep meaning and translate it into manifested movement matching the collective tuning. From the National Sybilline Mountain Park where the first 92 Mandala where published to other natural and archaic-locations I move giving dance performances inspired to the Stella Maris Dancing Mandalas as media for a futuristic performing dance theather in hatmony with nature, always connected to its 4 elements and to the ancestral myths of the origins .

Rosartour was founded in 2011 by a desire to exalt the values of the Puglia region and its international tourism by combining the environmental factors of the Mediterranean nature, the simple flavors of local traditional and expressive movements of dance, noble and ancient art, which would convey the immediacy symbolic and cultural codes, values and the degree of humanity of every civilization has evolved over time. Since the narrative-driven antefactor, with expressive sounds fabulous, we paint a dreamlike journey in the infinite time of archetypes, aiming to offer fascinating tours memorable, high-quality cultural, natural and full effect of deep artistic sensibility.

In CIENFUEGOS, our work here start from looking for interesting events like festivals, workshops or exhibitions (as we have already done) and offer our space as the medium between the artist and the public. We are only the support, the physical place where to make that wishes and projects become true.
we look for people interested in all the expressions of culture, even when it is mixed with different concepts related to everyday life, social, science or politics. What we love the most is the enthusiastic spirit that forces you to create, to communicate among the others. We connect installation, photography, music, theatre, poetry, painting, but also desire and enthusiasm.

I would like to make an image with coffee capsules (like pixels) to represent the diversity of people and infinite creativity. At the same time giving a example of how to recycle materials with creativity using collaboration of anyone who with to “play”.

8

From the results of the first edition, CreArt project (on behalf of all the participant cities and institutions) will ask the EU to establish March 21st as the EUROPEAN DAY OF ARTISTIC CREATIVITY.

9

To encourage the Mayors of European cities that have already joined the initiative to publish manifestos in favour of European Artistic Creativity.

10
